Montjuic hill, it is itself a mountain full of history, botanical gardens and interesting sights. Let’s explore the mountain on foot, escalators, bus, rackrailway and cable car, enjoying the nice atmosphere you can breathe there!
From the top you can enjoy good views to the city and an amazing sea panorama. There is also a fortress from the XVIII century!!. Montjuïc holds the main Olympic installations built for the 25th Olympic Games in 1992; we will see the Olimpic Stadium, the Sport Palace by the arquitect Arata Isozaki and the communications tower by Calatrava.
The 1929 International Exhibition held in Barcelona left the huge installations that can be seen such as the National Palace of Catalunya, and the magic fountains.
The walk is perfect for all the family! The children will enjoy its combination of open air, nature, sports and fun!
