Overview
The Palau de la Música Catalana is one of Barcelona’s most iconic and stunning architectural landmarks.
Designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, it was completed in 1908 being a masterpiece of Catalan modernism. The building is renowned for its unique and intricate design, blending ornate details, vibrant colours, and innovative use of materials. Was declared a World heritage site by the UNESCO in 1997.

The Concert Hall which acoustics are exceptional, making it one of the best concert venues in the world. The space is famous for its breathtaking stained-glass skylight, depicting a giant glass dome that bathes the room in natural light.
A breathtaking example of Modernist Architecture, the exterior features elaborate mosaics, intricate ironwork, and decorative sculptures, while the interior is adorned with stained glass, ceramics, and colourful tiles.
The Born district, located in the historic centre of Barcelona, is one of the city’s most vibrant and charming tourist destinations. Known for its narrow cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and bohemian atmosphere, the Born offers a mix of history, culture, art, and nightlife.

- Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar: This Gothic church, one of the most iconic landmarks of the district, is famous for its stunning architecture and its connection to Barcelona’s maritime history.
- El Mercado del Born: Originally a covered market, it now houses the Born Cultural Centre, which features exhibitions include archaeological remains of medieval Barcelona.
- Picasso Museum: One of the city’s main artistic attractions, this museum holds an extensive collection of works by Picasso, particularly from his early years, and is in several historic buildings in the area.
El Born is a perfect neighbourhood for wandering around, discovering small independent designer shops, tapas bars, charming cafés and art galleries.
